Manage Mappings

If you are a Platinum user and are using one of our integrations to import data from the likes of Xero and Quickbooks you may want to speed up future imports.

As part of the integrations we have already mapped the default headings to similar categories in GoSimpleTax so you do not have to do this. However, it is likely you have created your own headings (nominals) in your bookkeeping application. If this is the case then during the import routine you can, if you wish, save these for future imports. We cover how to do this within the help article for the import.

However, once you have saved a mapping you may want to delete the mapping. This can be done by: 

 

1. Go to the Self Employed page and select CONNECT

2. Then choose MANAGE MAPPINGS

3. Select the Vendor, Quickbooks, Xero etc....

You will the be shown a list of the current saved mappings, where you will be able to remove the mappings.
