You can elect to make voluntary class 2 voluntary contributions if you have added a Self-Employment page and your profit is below the Class 2 NIC limit.

You can make the claim in the software on the ALMOST THERE page.  To get to this page, please follow the steps below:

1. Click on SAVE and CONTINUE:

1. Then click YES:
   

1. Answer 'Yes' to the question 'Do you want to voluntarily contribute towards Class 2 Contribution?' and enter the amount:
   

 Click on 'SAVE' at the bottom of the page.
