SA103F Box 65: How do I show the net business loss for tax purposes?

Box 65 gets populated automatically (if box 48 + box 63 minus (box 47 + box 61) is positive). To populate these boxes, please see our other articles. 

  1. If you have not added the Self Employed page already, please click on + NEW PAGE on the left of the screen.


  1. Select Self Employment (SA103) from the list shown:

  1. Click on the + GROUP button in the Expenses section:



  1. Select the relevant category from the list shown i.e.  Equipment (Capital Allowances):


  1. Then click on the + ADD button and select the relevant category from the list:

  1. Once you have selected the relevant category, click on the PEN icon:


  1. Then complete the relevant boxes in that page:
