SA103F Box 71: How do I show an Adjustment for change of accounting practice?

To populate box 71 to show an Adjustment for change of accounting practice, please follow the steps below: 

  1. If you have not added the Self Employed page already, please click on + NEW PAGE on the left of the screen.


  1. Select Self Employment (SA103) from the list shown:

  1. Click on the + GROUP button in the Expenses section:



  1. Select 'Tax Adjustments' from the list shown:

  1. Then click on the + ADD button and select 'Adjustment for change in Accounting Practice' from the list:


  1. Once you have selected the relevant category, click on the PEN icon:


  1. Then complete the relevant boxes in that page:
