How do I submit my Self Assessment?
*Please note that for the time being, you will require a HMRC login in order to successfully submit your return
- Click SAVE & CONTINUE / VALIDATE MY TAX RETURN
- Click YES to proceed
- Select Yes or No in all the Relevant Radio Button Options, please be sure to scroll down the page so you do not miss any questions.
- Click on PAY NOW if not paid already
- Enter Payment Details if applicable
- Select Review Calculation and Proceed
- Select Next Step:Verify I.D
- Select the Country Code from the drop-down list
- Check the Phone Number (this can be updated in the Personal details page) and press Send Me My Code
- Enter the code provided and Click Submit (This code is sent by text and email).
- You will then be asked to confirm submission, once your return has been submitted to HMRC we will display a confirmation on screen AND send you an email to confirm submission.
You can check if the submission has been successful, by going into SETTINGS and SUBMISSIONS HISTORY.
